BORN THREE; Mum, dad and baby Katie share the same birthday.

TINY Katie McCorquodale has scored an amazing a·maze

 family hat-trick being born on the same date as her mum and her dad.

She came into the world on June 10 when dad Andrew and mum Yvonne were celebrating their 37th birthdays.

 the 8lb 5oz new arrival, Yvonne said: 'We have always had a big do for our birthday and it has always been a talking point that the two of us share the same day. But it really is going to be a big celebration now.'

In fact, the proud parents tried hard to avoid Katie sharing their birthday.She was due on May 31 but when she was late, Yvonne was given a date to be induced at Trafford General Hospital, near Manchester.

The couple deliberately chose June11 but baby Katie seemed determined to be a birthday present for her parents and a surprised Yvonne went into labour on June 10. She gave birth five hours later.

Yvonne said: 'We didn't want her birthday to be overshadowed by ours, we wanted her to have her own special day. But little Katie had other ideas.

 Sue Pilgrim, who delivered Katie, certainly won't forget it it's her husband's birthday too.

Yvonne and Andrew, of Timperley, Greater Manchester, are now kicking themselves for not placing a bet on the anniversary long-shot.
