BORG-WARNER SECURITY ADDS THREE DIRECTORS

 CHICAGO, Feb. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- The board of directors of Borg- Warner Security Corp. (NYSE: BOR) voted today to increase the number of board members from five to eight and appointed three new board members. The board also voted to create three classes of directors who will serve terms of one, two and three years.
 New members of the board of directors are Robert A. McCabe, president, Pilot Capital Corp.; Dale W. Lang, chairman, Lang Communications; and J. Joe Adorjan, president, Emerson Electric Co. Class I directors, who serve until the annual meeting of stockholders in 1993, are McCabe; Alexis P. Michas, senior vice president, Merrill Lynch Capital Partners, Inc.; and Donald C. Trauscht, chairman, president and chief executive officer, Borg-Warner Security Corp.
 Class II directors, who will serve until the annual meeting of the stockholders in 1994, are Lang and Neal F. Farrell, executive vice president and general counsel, Borg-Warner Security Corp.
 Class III directors, elected to serve until the annual meeting of stockholders in 1995, are Adorjan; James J. Burke Jr., president and chief executive officer, Merrill Lynch Capital Partners, Inc.; and Albert J. Fitzgibbons III, executive vice president, Merrill Lynch Capital Partners, Inc.
 The company's 1993 annual meeting of stockholders will be held at 10 a.m. on June 29, 1993, at the Borg-Warner Security Corp. headquarters offices, 200 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago.
 Borg-Warner Security Corp. is the largest, broadest-based supplier of protective services in the United States. The company provides guard, alarm, armored transportation and courier services under the Wells Fargo, Burns and Pony Express names.
