BOPS and VSIS Announce Strategic Alliance.

 Inc., a systems designer and developer are announcing at the Microprocessor Forum the formation of a strategic alliance and licensing agreement for the development of semiconductor and system products for high-volume, low-cost consumer applications. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed; a product announcement will be made in 1999.

BOPS has unique core technology capabilities in microprocessor design and VSIS leads in system-on-a-chip (SOC) development and in providing applications support for quick-to-market solutions," said Ed Chow, BOPS CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. .
