BOOSTER HAILS REGION'S VITALITY CHAMBER TALK CITES LIVABILITY, ECONOMIC CLOUT.

PALMDALE - Portland, Ore., was named by Money magazine to be the best place to live in the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. , but Palmdale has a higher median income, lower cost of living and much lower crime rate, an economic development official says.

David Myers told business people at a Palmdale Chamber of Commerce luncheon that they should tell their political leaders what kind of community they want the Antelope Valley This article is about the Los Angeles County region. But Myers also said there are potential problems in store for California and the Antelope Valley. Inflation is creeping up and the growth in the gross domestic product appears to be slowing.
