The "BOOST Mobile Hard Charger Awards" grant a $5,000 purse, which is distributed among last chance qualifiers in both the 125cc and 250cc classes. In addition, one rider is selected from the last chance qualifiers as the "BOOST Mobile Hard Charger." The winner receives BOOST Mobile's flagship i95cl wireless phone and BOOST Mobile airtime.

As a part of the company's continuing commitment to motocross, BOOST Mobile kicked off the first "BOOST Mobile Hard Charger Awards" at the Jan. 18 THQ World Supercross GP and AMA Supercross Series event conducted before an enthusiastic sold-out crowd at Edison Field in Anaheim, Calif.

Last chance qualifiers in both the 125cc and 250cc classes will split the Last Chance Qualifier purse at the remaining THQ World Supercross GP and AMA Supercross Series events sponsored by BOOST Mobile.

Carpenter was selected from the last chance qualifiers as the "BOOST Mobile Hard Charger." Carpenter received the BOOST Mobile i95cl wireless phone, which features the BOOST 2WAY(TM) digital two-way radio feature, a color display, games, ring tones and more.
