SCOTS love their lingerie - with our women willing to spend more than most on knickers and bras.

A new study found the average woman will splash out splash out

And one in 10 said they refused to sacrifice their scanties, despite the current recession.

A whopping 82 per cent of women admitted they felt more confident and desirable when wearing nice underwear.
