Well, it's not so much a diary as a combination of hilarious letters and stories of life as a "growing up" twin. Violet is the quiet one, and sister Lily is the noisy one.

Poor Violet lives very much in Lily's shadow and finds it difficult to make friends, until she gets a penpal called Katie.
