A funny young adult book? They aren't common, but with "Best Foot Forward," Newbery Honor The Newbery Honor is a citation given by the Association for Library Service to Children of the American Library Association (ALA). The Newbery Honor is given to worthy runners-up for the Newbery Medal, a higher honor.  author Joan Bauer has written one of the best. This sequel to "Rules of the Road," again featuring 17-year-old Jenna, stands well on its own. Fans of Bauer's books will not be disappointed.
