How do I get there?

Hop on a train and then tram - check times at www.nationalrail.co.uk and metrolink.co.uk for times and prices, or take the M56, which becomes Princes Parkway (mind the speed cameras).

Then follow the brown signs to the Arena's official car park.

Don't trade possible jams leaving for cheaper parking elsewhere. There's parking scams - beware of fake yellow signs on side roads to the Arena staffed by con-men in fluorescent jackets. You'll end up with your car clamped - or locked in, plus a fine.

Where to eat?

The Arena's got a bar and fast-food takeaways. Otherwise, park and head out into town for nearby restaurants.

Or, drive in early (or stop off on the way back) along Oxford Road's Curry Mile.

As well as the best Indian, there's Chinese, Nepalese, Thai - almost everything Asian.
