 ANNOUNCES SENIOR EXECUTIVE PROMOTIONS
 LAKEWOOD, Ohio, March 26 /PRNewswire/ -- As Bonne Bell, Inc., prepares to celebrate its 65th anniversary, the international cosmetics, health and beauty products corporation announced today a series of senior-level executive promotions.
 In making the announcement, company Chairman Jess A. Bell said the executives will lead the company during its third generation of operation.
 "The well-deserved promotions reflect our continuing, intensive programs to have in place the right blend of talent, expertise and professionalism as we approach the next century," Bell said.
 "We are fiercely proud of our record of remaining an independent, family-owned business, with strong community ties, which has manufactured quality products for the pre-teen and teen-age market ever since 1927."
 Those promoted are: Ronald W. Dees, 42, from executive vice president and chief operating officer to president; James A. Bell, Jr., 33, director of operations, to vice-president, manufacturing/operations; Jess A. "Buddy" Bell, Jr., 34, manager, international marketing, to vice president, international; and Kelly Bolas, 30, director of marketing, to vice president, marketing.
 Jess A. Bell will move from president to chairman, Bonne Bell Eckert will become vice chairman.
 The company's other senior managers are Robert G. Swanson, 40, senior vice president, finance, and treasurer; John Farr, 32, vice president, sales, and Janet Thompson, 41, vice president, technical services.
 Dees joined Bonne Bell 10 years ago as vice president, operations, rising to senior vice president and then executive vice president and chief operating officer. Before joining Bonne Bell, he was with the management consulting division of the former Arthur Young and Company. Dees holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Purdue University.
 James Bell has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wyoming. With Bonne Bell, he has held positions in sales, quality control, bulk manufacturing and contract packaging.
 Jess A. Bell, Jr., graduated from the University of Wyoming, and he currently is in the executive Master's of Business Administration program at Case Western Reserve University.
 Kelley Bolas joined Bonne Bell in 1988 as product manager, health and beauty products. She holds a bachelor of arts and master of business administration degrees from Bowling Green State University. Before joining Bonne Bell, she was product manager with American Greetings Corporation.
 Bonne Bell, Inc., was founded in 1927 by Jesse G. Bell, who served as company president until 1959. His son, Jess A. Bell, in promoting Dees to president, finishes a similar 33-year tenure as president.
 The company, in celebration of its 65th anniversary, is planning a series of special events this year that will culminate in October. It was one of the first corporation's in America to promote fitness and wellness programs involving its employees; it also has sponsored young athletes and a host of widely recognized skiiing and tennis tournaments throughout the United States and overseas.
 This year, Bonne Bell, Inc., is sponsoring The Wilds, an international center dedicated to the preservation of animals in their natural setting. The Wilds is located in Southern Ohio. The sponsorship reflects the company's commitment to timely issues and projects that are directly related to protecting the environment.
