BODY FOUND AT VAN FIRE; HOMICIDE SUSPECTED.

Authorities were trying to determine on Friday the identity of a man found burned to death inside a charred van in a Reseda alley.

``We have not been able to make an identification, but we have a pretty good lead,'' said Los Angeles County Coroner The Los Angeles County Department of Coroner was created in its present form on December 7, 1990 by an ordinance approved by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, though it has existed in some form since the late 19th century.  spokesman Craig Harvey. ``This is being investigated as a homicide.''
