Take to the rough waters of Dockweiler Beach and run on the strand during Race No. 4 in the Playa del Run series. The course features a 1,000-meter swim followed by a two-loop 5K run. The race also features swim-only or run-only options. The race takes place Sunday. The swim starts at 8 a.m., followed by the run. The 5K Run Only starts at 8:10 a.m. Registration is $35 for the entire race. Swim only is $40. Run only is $25. The event is located at the north end of Dockweiler Beach in Playa del Rey, just south of Marina del Rey. Race-day registration starts at 7 a.m. To register online, visit www.active.com.
