``Chris Gonzalez is a real tough kid,'' Highland coach Mike Young said. ``He and Dustin are both real competitive and they respect each other.''

They could meet again Saturday at the Sam De John tournament at San Fernando San Fernando, city, Argentina

Highland squeaked out the victory by winning three overtime matches by Jacques VanRooyen, Evan Salas and Dan Frazer.

``I don't actually know the reason why. I guess there was some confusion and Lancaster thought it was a one-day tournament,'' Young said.

Second-year Lancaster coach Kevin Bice was a former Highland wrestler who competed in the Loughridge tournament before graduating in 1995.

``I didn't mind too much because it gave me a chance to plug my JV team in,'' Young said. ``They got a chance to see varsity competition.''
