BOATRACS signs contract with MEMCO; Integrated communications a top priority.


SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 16, 1996--BOATRACS Inc. (Bulletin Board:BTRK) Tuesday announced that Marine Equipment Management Co. (MEMCO) of Chesterfield, Mo., has signed a contract to purchase and equip its entire fleet with BOATRACS' satellite-based marine communications and tracking systems.

MEMCO is a rapidly growing, fully integrated marine transportation company. Based on its need to increase office efficiencies, MEMCO decided to equip its fleet with the BOATRACS system to integrate data collection and communication between the corporate offices and the boats.
