, that "Ballyhea GAA club proposes a vote of no confidence in the officer board of Cumann Luthchleas Gael Chorcai because of the way they handled the recent dispute," county board chairman Jerry O'Sullivan said that he was disappointed that the club felt the need to bring such a motion.

He added that it was "unprecedented", and that the board had not done anything wrong during the strike by the Cork hurlers.
