BOARD RACE DRAWS 2 MORE; A.V. HOSPITAL FIELD NOW AT 10.

The two latest candidates are Dr. Abdallah Farrukh, a Lancaster neurosurgeon neurosurgeon

, and Sandra Tulley, a retired mechanic for United Airlines.

Tulley, 52, of Lancaster, said she is running to bring fresh ideas to the hospital, such as providing a telephone help-line for patients who are having problems and a list of organizations and agencies that provide services for elderly patients.

``It would be useful for people and families so they don't have to go out and find those numbers,'' Tulley said.

Farrukh could not be reached for comment.

The filing period for the hospital board race was extended to last Wednesday because incumbent director Larry Chimbole did not seek re-election. Chimbole's seat and the seats of two other directors, Steve Fox Steve Fox may refer to:

 and Deborah Rice, are up for election Nov. 7.

The other candidates who have filed are Fox and Rice; delivery driver Gregory Bashem, a Libertarian candidate also running against Assemblyman George Runner George C.
