BOARD OF RIGHTS RULES AGAINST LAPD SERGEANT.

The recommended penalty for Dennis Pelch, 54, of Saugus was not disclosed.

Pelch was cleared of a separate charge of having assisted his son in July 1994, as well as other charges that he lied to LAPD investigators and refused to cooperate with the FBI, Smith said.

Pelch's attorney, Darryl Mounger, declined to comment on the findings Tuesday.

Brett Pelch was arrested in August and charged in two 1993 holdups in which bank managers were held hostage overnight in their homes and forced to accompany suspects to rob the branches the next day.

In the misconduct count upheld by the police panel, authorities said Dennis Pelch used an intermediary to obtain a duplicate car key for his son in Las Vegas Las Vegas (läs vā`gəs), city (1990 pop. 258,295), seat of Clark co., S Nev.; inc. 1911. It is the largest city in Nevada and the center of one of the fastest-growing urban areas in the United States.  while Brett Pelch was being sought on a series of charges by the FBI.

While Brett Pelch was a fugitive, his younger brother Wiki is aware of the following uses of "'Younger Brother":
  • Younger Brother (music group)
  • Younger Brother (Trinity House) - a title within the British organisation, Trinity House
 Chad Michael Pelch, 25, was arrested, convicted and began serving a 10-year prison term for his role in one of the holdups.

Both Brett and Chad Pelch face state charges in connection with the crimes.
