BNSF Signs Technology Contract with Mincom(R).

DENVER -- Mincom, a global software and services provider for asset-intensive industries, has signed a deal with BNSF Railway Company, one of the largest railways in North America, to provide the organization with supply-chain management, inventory, e-procurement and parts cataloging solutions.

Last year, BNSF initiated a project to find a supplier who could provide a fully integrated, best-of-breed solution for their system-wide logistics and material management business processes. Additionally they sought a consistent, user-friendly interface that offered a "one stop shop" for all material needs, including stock, vendor-held consignment, and direct charge requirements.
