BNP Paribas Appoints Ronald Windisch as Head of Newly Created Municipal Finance Group.

It was created on 23 May 2000 through the merger of Banque Nationale de Paris (BNP) and Paribas.  is pleased to announce the appointment of Ronald Windisch as a Managing Director and head of the newly created municipal finance group. He is based in New York and reports to Kip Testwuide, Head of Origination and Distribution for the Americas.

Ronald joins the firm from Morgan Stanley To comply with Wikipedia's , the introduction of this article needs a complete rewrite.  in New York where he was a Managing Director and Head of Municipal Derivatives since 1995. In this role he was responsible for marketing and risk managing interest rate and credit derivatives for municipal issuers and investors. He joined Morgan Stanley in 1990. Prior to that he spent three years at Bankers Trust The Bankers Trust is a historic American banking organisation that was acquired by Deutsche Bank in 1998.

It was originally set up when banks could not perform trust company services.
 where he was involved in the creation of the municipal derivatives group.

Commenting on the appointment, Kip Testwuide said, "Ron's appointment is in line with our continued and very successful effort of building a global dollar platform.
