BNP Paribas Adds to Its New York Foreign Exchange Group.

 -- BNP Paribas is pleased to announce the appointments of Howard Greenberg, Tricia Shinden and Richard Gaborow to its Foreign Exchange (FX) group. All three are based in New York.

Howard joins as an institutional salesperson, reporting to Garry Popofsky, head of FX investor coverage. Previously, he worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland

 in foreign exchange sales for ten years. Prior to that, Howard worked at Natwest Markets and The Shareholders Services Group.

Tricia joins as a proprietary trader reporting to Nigel Babbage, global head of proprietary trading Proprietary Trading

When a firm trades for direct gain instead of commission dollars. Essentially, the firm has decided to profit from the market rather than commissions from processing trades.
. Previously, she worked at Victory Investment Management and Deutsche Bank.

Richard joins as a currency derivatives trader reporting locally to Nigel Babbage and globally to Hubert de Lambilly, global head of FX options based in London. Richard previously traded currency derivatives at Lehman Brothers.
