BNA LAUNCHES HEALTH CARE POLICY REPORT; EXCLUSIVE DIRECTORY INCLUDED IN INAUGURAL ISSUE

WASHINGTON, March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The Bureau of National Affairs, Inc., has launched a comprehensive weekly publication, BNA's Health Care Policy Report, covering health care policy and reform. The new publication will report on federal and state legislative and regulatory developments as well as private sector initiatives in health care reform.
The inaugural issue of BNA's Health Care Policy Report includes an exclusive directory of more than 100 members of the working groups established by the president's Task Force on National Health Care Reform, headed by Hillary Rodham Clinton.
In addition to providing access to this kind of inside information, the publication will cover the full range of issues being scrutinized in the health care debate: cost, accessibility, insurance regulation, managed competition and care, small business insurance benefits, malpractice, the proposed global spending budget, and antitrust regulation.
Professionals who will benefit from the publication include lobbyists, lawmakers, association officials, health care executives, consultants, insurance representatives, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and other top-level health care policy makers.
The activities of federal and state agencies, along with the legislative activity of key House and Senate committees, are included in regular coverage. BNA's Health Care Policy Report contains extensive reports on state and local health care policy initiatives, as reported by BNA's 50-state network of correspondents.
The new publication's "Vital Signs" section covers the national health care reform debate and private sector initiatives to restructure the health care system. Additional features include full text of important documents, key personnel moves and advance notice of internal agency policy proposals.
BNA's Health Care Policy Report is the inaugural publication from BNA's Health Care Services Division, the company's first new core editorial division in more than 20 years.
BNA is a leading publisher of print and electronic news and information services, reporting on developments in business, economics, law, taxation, labor relations, health policy, environmental protection and safety, and other public policy and regulatory issues.
