The plan is to run the park on a temporary basis to see if there is a market for such a facility. If things work out, Alsobrook will then look for a permanent site.

``We'll test market it for two years to see if, yes, it'll fly and that we get the rider count before we pump a bunch of money into a permanent park,'' Alsobrook said.

The park, called No Mercy Racing BMX Park, will include a first-aid trailer, a pro shop and a concession stand Concession stand is the term used to refer to a place where patrons can purchase snacks or food at a cinema, fair, Stadium, or other entertainment venue. Some events or venues contract out the right to sell food to third parties. . It will feature a 1,100-foot main track, a 600-foot peewee track for kids age 7 and younger, and a ``jumpers alley.''

Development of the park is estimated to cost between $30,000 and $50,000.

Alsobrook, a bicycle shop owner, and his partner Tom Raden created a nonprofit organization Nonprofit Organization

An association that is given tax-free status. Donations to a non-profit organization are often tax deductible as well.
