Careful! You might encounter a venomous Black Widow Spider the next time you visit your mailbox. Or a hot-blooded Bombardier Beetle. Or a gentle Monarch Caterpillar -- if Orkin Pest Control has anything to say about it.

That's because Orkin plans to swarm the nation with information using the newest addition to its consumer education series - The "Bug America" Postcard - just as the U.S. Postal Service begins offering stamps from its Insects & Spiders collection beginning October 1. The postcards are free to the public and also offer a chance to win a trip to The Children's Museum of Indianapolis - the largest children's museum in the world.

Orkin Builds Education Buzz

With the release of the Insects & Spiders commemorative stamp collection, the nation's mail carrier is raising awareness about the function of insects and spiders in the environment. Orkin is complementing that effort with its series of postcards. The stamps and the postcards are only available for a limited time; the stamps are being offered for just 90 days, and the postcards while supplies last.

Recipients are encouraged to read the information on each insect or spider and to use the corresponding stamp for each postcard.
