The membership will enable BMC Software to further extend its enterprise security management suite and to provide the widest connectivity solution on the market for centralized access management.

BMC Software is currently working towards achieving Entrust-Ready(TM) status for CONTROL-SA(R). The Entrust-Ready designation applies to products that have been enrolled in the Entrust Alliance Developer Program and tested for compatibility and interoperability with Entrust Technologies' market-leading PKI software. As a partner, BMC Software will be able to leverage the development tools, testing and marketing support provided by Entrust to integrate CONTROL-SA with Entrust/PKI(TM). The integration with Entrust's digital signature technologies will empower companies to centrally manage both traditional security systems and e-business security solutions. BMC Software customers will be able to take advantage of the key elements required for building trust between e-business partners -- automated access management (with CONTROL-SA) and e-business information security (with Entrust/PKI).

Automated Access Request for Secure Online Transactions
