 BLUE LAKE GAS STORAGE COMPANY DECLARES OPEN SEASON
 DETROIT, Sept. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Blue Lake Gas Storage Company


(Blue Lake) will hold an open season for customers interested in contracting for firm storage service scheduled to begin April 1, 1993.
 The open season will last for five days, commencing on Oct. 12 and ending at 5 p.m. Eastern Daylight Savings Time, Oct. 16, 1992. Requests should be sent to: Blue Lake Gas Storage Company, c/o ANR Storage Company, 500 Renaissance Center, Detroit, MI 48243, Attention: Marketing Department.
 Blue Lake, a partnership of subsidiaries of MCN Corporation and ANR Storage Company, has received a certificate of public convenience and necessity from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to construct and operate a new storage field in northern Michigan with a working capacity of 42 billion cubic feet of natural gas.
 In the order granting that certificate, issued May 1, 1992, in Docket No. CP91-2704, FERC directed Blue Lake to file an open-access storage tariff and to offer storage service on a non-discriminatory basis.
 Blue Lake is offering a 70-day firm, self-implementing storage service, which allows for the injection of gas from April 1 through Oct. 31, and withdrawals of gas from Nov. 1 through March 31.
