BLAZES CAN'T STOP MARCHING BANDS.

Thirty bands are expected to compete, including groups from Canoga Park, Lompoc, Santa Barbara Santa Barbara (săn'tə bär`brə, –bərə), city (1990 pop. 85,571), seat of Santa Barbara co., S Calif., on the Pacific Ocean; inc. 1850. , Burbank, Westlake and San Pedro, as well as all four local high schools, for awards in various categories, such as percussion and pageantry. As the hosts, the Hart Regiment group does not compete but merely performs.

The Rampage will start at noon and will continue into the evening. Awards are scheduled for 9:30 p.m. Tickets for adults are $7. For students under 18 and seniors, tickets are $5. Children age 4 and under will be admitted free. For more information, call 259-8002.
