BLAST REACHES NATIONAL SEMIS.Byline: Daily News The Valley United Blast, a boys' under-19 soccer team consisting of many of the area's top players, has reached the semifinals of the U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships in Phoenix. The squad, representing the West region, meets East champion North Brunswick, N.J., on Thursday at 8 a.m. ``It was my goal five years ago, when I started this team with Norm Macdonald, that we would play for the (national championship),'' co-coach Thor Lee said. ``We've got a solid team over there.''
