BLACK TO BASICS FEW SPLASHES OF COLOR AMID GOLDEN GLOBE'S DARK GLAMOUR.

Perhaps the biggest hint things are getting back to normal in Hollywood was the predominance of basic black on the red carpet Sunday night Sunday Night, later named Michelob Presents Night Music, was an NBC late-night television show which aired for two seasons between 1988 and 1990 as a showcase for jazz and eclectic musical artists.  at the Golden Globe Awards.

Yes, there were a few sparkling ensembles, some eye-popping gowns and the obvious fashion faux pas, but simple black cocktail dresses and crisp penguin suits dominated.

Billy Bob Thornton and Angelina Jolie smooched their way down the red carpet. But their clothes were more subdued. Jolie was in a strapless black satin dress with pearls, while he sported a black beret. Denzel Washington's wife, Pauletta, wore a black strapless leather gown.

Not everything was black and sleek.
