BLACK LEADERS ARRESTED CONSULATE BLOCKED IN PROTEST OF STAMP.

Three African-American activists upset about the Mexican government's issuance of a postage stamp postage stamp, government stamp affixed to mail to indicate payment of postage. At an unrelated press conference, Villaraigosa called the stamps derogatory, but did not indicate whether he would write a formal letter to the Mexican government.

``Anytime we have a caricature of any ethnic minority, in any way, it's wrong,'' he said.

The White House has called the stamps insensitive.

Fox was already in the hot seat following a comment in May that Mexicans do the jobs in the U.S. that blacks don't want to.

Despite the growing outrage among blacks, many Mexican immigrants don't consider the character racist.

``These are just cartoons. In cartoons, everything is exaggerated,'' said Rudy Echauria, a 47-year-old Arleta resident.

Mexico printed 750,000 of the commemorative stamps, which sold out in just two days. There have been reports of them fetching as much as $200 on eBay.
