(BJP) on Friday announced the names of candidates for its two seats of Uttar Pradesh. BJP's headquarter in-charge Shyam Jaju said, "Party has declared Yogesh Shukla from Allahabad and Seema Dwivedi from Jaunpur as its candidate." BJP took this decision in the central election committee's meet held on Monday. Murli Manohar Joshi Murli Manohar Joshi was the Union Human Resources Development minister of India in the NDA government. Joshi is a leading member of the BJP. He was born in Delhi on January 5 1934, hailing from the Kumaon Hills region of northern India which today form a part of the state of , senior BJP leader who contested from Allahabad in the last Lok Sabha polls, would contest from the Varanasi constituency this time.
