BJ's Wholesale Club Reports May Sales.NATICK, Mass. -- BJ's Wholesale Club BJ's Wholesale Club, Inc. The Company provided the following additional information regarding May 2006 sales for BJ's Wholesale Club: On a comparable club basis, sales were highest in week two and lowest in week three, reflecting a calendar shift in timing of Mother's Day versus last year. Comparable club sales were positive in all major markets with the highest increases in the Upstate New York Upstate New York is the region of New York State north of the core of the New York metropolitan area.
