Jack Nugent, President and Chief Executive Officer, said: "BJ's October sales performance reflects continued strong demand in apparel, particularly men's, consumer electronics and home entertainment products, tires and health and beauty aids. A lower sales trend mid-month was likely the result of unusually warm fall weather, particularly on weekends. As the weather turned more seasonal, traffic in our clubs regained strength quickly."
