BJ'S Wholesale Club, Inc. Reports August Sales.

NATICK, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--September 2, 1999--

BJ's Wholesale Club, Inc. (NYSE:BJ) today reported that sales for August increased by 19.3% to $300 million from $251 million recorded in August 1998. Comparable club sales increased by 6.9% for August and by 6.3% year-to-date.
