MATTHEWS STUDIO TO BUY OLESEN: Burbank-based Matthews Studio Equipment Corp., a supplier of grip and lighting equipment for the entertainment industry, said Thursday it's Expendable Supply Stores division has signed a letter of intent to acquire Olesen, a division of Hollywood-based Entertainment Resources Inc. that supplies theatrical equipment.
