 REISSUES DISNEY GAMES: THQ Inc. announced Wednesday that it has reissued four Disney-based interactive games for the Nintendo Game Boy at a suggested retail price that is up to 38 percent below the previous price tag. WOODLAND HILLS BANK BRANCH SOLD: Burbank-based Highland Federal Bank has agreed to sell its Woodland Hills branch to First Banks of California in a transaction resulting in a one-time gain to Highland of $800,000, officials said Wednesday. First Banks assumed the branch's $39 million in deposits, for which Highland paid the buyer $38.2 million, resulting in the one-time gain. The sale brings to four the total branches sold by Highland during its first quarter. Highland Federal Bank operates seven branches and two loan centers in California.

WAL-MART CONSTRUCTION BEGINS SOON: Construction on the new two-story Wal-Mart store in Panorama City is scheduled to begin by early next week, officials said Wednesday. The company is converting the building formerly occupied by The Broadway department store at the Panorama Mall into a 135,000-square-foot Wal-Mart, which will be the company's first inner-city location in California, according to officials. Work is expected to be completed in December. It will be larger than the typical Wal-Mart store, which generally ranges from 100,000- to 120,000-square-feet.

AMWEST MOVES HEADQUARTERS: Amwest Insurance Group has moved its corporate headquarters from a 70,000-square-foot space at the Trillium trillium or wake-robin (trĭl`ēəm), any plant of the large genus Trillium, attractive spring wildflowers of the family Liliaceae (lily family), native to North America and E Asia.  in Woodland Hills to an 80,000-square-foot office in the Calabasas Commerce Center. The relocation centralizes all its subsidiaries, saving the company $1 million a year, officials said. Amwest is an insurance holding company. Its subsidiaries are Amwest Surety Insurance Co., Condor Insurance Co., Far West Insurance Co., Raven raven, common name for the largest member of the family Corvidae (crow family), ranging throughout the arctic and temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere. The raven, Corvus corax, is a glossy black scavenging bird about 26 in.  Claims Services Inc., Far West Bond Services and SCBS SCBS Short Circuit Bisection  Bonding and Insurance Services.

LITTON SIGNS $250 MILLION CONTRACT: Litton Industries Named after inventor Charles Litton Sr., Litton Industries was a large defense contractor in the United States, bought by the Northrop Grumman Corporation in 2001.  Inc. said it received a $250 million order from the U.S. Navy to provide computer consulting services Noun 1. consulting service - service provided by a professional advisor (e.g., a lawyer or doctor or CPA etc.)
