SATTEL SATTEL Satellite Telemetry  GLOBAL GETS NIGERIAN DEAL: Sattel Global Networks has announced the Nigerian police force will use its hardware for all its data, voice and fax transmissions. Staff at the Chatsworth-based satellite telecommunications manufacturer estimate that this new contract will bring it between $5 million and $10 million in new business revenues. The network, currently being installed, is used to help the country's 32 police stations communicate with each other.

SUPERIOR WINS FORD CONTRACT: Van Nuys-based Superior Industries International Inc. has been awarded an annual contract from Ford Motor Co. to supply aluminum road wheels for the F-150 pickup truck through the 1998 model year with an annual value of $5 million. The contract follows a recent multimillion-dollar contract from Ford to supply three aluminum road wheel styles for its 1998 Lincoln Navigator The Lincoln Navigator is a full-size luxury SUV produced by Ford Motor Company for its luxury division Lincoln. Introduced in 1998, the Navigator was one of the first full-size luxury SUVs.  Sport Utility vehicle, including a chrome-plated version.
