CHEROKEE INCOME, REVENUES UP: Cherokee Inc. of Van Nuys reported a net income of $1.2 million (15 cents a share) and net revenues of $1.9 million for the third quarter ended March 1. In the like period a year ago, net income was $212,000 (3 cents) on revenues of $387,000. Cherokee's business consists of marketing and licensing its brand name. It used to make apparel and shoes.

BANKS REPORT EARNINGS: American Pacific Bank of Sherman Oaks reported first-quarter earnings of $706,000, or 14 cents a share, up 11 percent from earnings of $653,000, or 13 cents a share, in the 1996 period. Officials with the eight-branch bank say the increase was due to a reduction in its provision for credit losses as the local economy improved. Thousand Oaks-based Los Robles Robles is a common surname in the Spanish language meaning oaks, and may refer to:
