Marc St. Julien has opened the St. Julien Insurance Agency, an Allstate agency, in Sherman Oaks. St. Julien has 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. The agency is located at 14847 Magnolia Blvd., Suite 204.

The Calabasas-based commercial real estate brokerage firm Lee and Associates has completed the sale of a 135,000-foot retail center in Irving, Texas for $31.3 million. Lee and Associates Senior Vice President Doug Humphrey represented the buyer, Huntington Trust, a real estate company with numerous commercial property investments in Los Angeles and Chicago.

The Association for University and Economic Research has selected California State University, Northridge's eighth annual San Fernando Valley Economic Report for its annual award of excellence for data publications. The report, which came out in Fall 2005, documents economic conditions and trends in the San Fernando Valley.

Woodland Hills-based United Online, Inc. announced that it has launched NetZero Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) broadband Internet service through an agreement with NetZero, which offers two levels of broadband service, DSL Saver with up to 768 Kbps of service, and DSL Pro with up to 1.5 Mbps of service.

With a combined 25 years of escrow experience, Emily Gonzalez and Dennis Unoura have opened the independent LSB Escrow, Inc. in Tarzana. Their new shop is at 18321 Ventura Blvd. No. 315, in the East West Bank building.

ReelzChannel, the new Los-Angeles based TV network and Web site, has hired Calabasas-resident Wayne Aaronson as its new vice president of ad sales, West Coast. Aaronson will focus on the motion picture industry and West Coast-based ad agencies.

IDS Real Estate Group has named Jeffrey C. Newman as its new chief financial officer. Newman will be responsible for the company's finance and asset management functions. Before coming to IDS, Newman was the executive vice president for Nippon Life's U.S. real estate subsidiaries. Based in Los Angeles, IDS has a major presence in the Santa Clarita and Conejo valleys, including the redevelopment of a 100-acre Northrup property in Thousand Oaks and headquarters buildings for Pharmavite and Paul Mitchell in Santa Clarita.
