BIZ BUZZ.Byline: -- Compiled by Ben Jauron Sherman Oaks resident Marlene Dove earned the Community Service Award from the National Association of Female Executives at their recent ``Women for Women Forums: Where the Public and Private Sectors Intersect.'' Dove, the director of the Blackwell Academy of Performing Arts, received the award for volunteering her time to bring the arts back to inner-city youths after school budget cuts eliminated them. Century City business litigation law firm Fox Spillane Shaeffer LLP announced the recent hiring of Calabasas residents David Arnoff and Lincoln Bandlow as partners. Before joining Fox Spillane Shaeffer, Arnoff and Bandlow were partners with Leopold, Petrich and Smith, where both specialized in representing media and entertainment companies. Arnoff was recognized as a Southern California ``Super Lawyer'' in 2005, 2006 and 2007, and was chairman of the Los Angeles County Bar's Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law Section in 2004-05. Los Angeles Magazine recognized Bandlow as a ``Rising Star'' lawyer three times and he was president of the Los Angeles Copyright Society during its 2005-06 term. Tarzana-based LSB Escrow Inc. recently announced the hiring of escrow officer Kim Kemhadjian. Kemhadjian brings 13 years of escrow experience to LSB. She lives in Woodland Hills and has three children. Malibu-based Jakks Pacific Inc.'s Go Fly a Kite division presented its 2007 line at the annual Kite Trade Association Show in Albuquerque, N.M. The American Advertising Federation is holding the world's largest advertising competition. The entry fee is $75, and artists must submit entries by Feb.16. Judging for the regional competition covering the San Fernando, Santa Clarita and Antelope valleys will take place March25 at the Odyssey Restaurant in Granada Hills. The Santa Clarita Valley Escrow Association recently collected a ``huge mountain'' of toys for the Sheriff's Department's Toys for Tots program at its 15th annual Installation Banquet and Holiday Celebration at the Valencia Country Club. Outgoing President Dianne Keefe-Bonnell of LandAmerica Southland Title chose Toys for Tots, and the Sheriff's Department distributed them to local children for the holiday season.
