BITES.

Byline: The Register-Guard

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE FOREIGN WORD?

Mushi (Japanese for "bug" - it fits, doesn't it?)

Ach! (German for, well, sounds like a cool German word)

Vaca (Spanish for ``cow'')

Makapiapia (Hawaiian for ``eye booger'')

Phanget (Tagalog for ``ugly'')

Siesta (no need to say more)

Cliche (French for cliche)

Senor Chicles (OK, so that's two words, but it's my Spanish teacher's name)

Voila (French for voila! Very fun to say, especially when gesturing. ``Voila, voila, voila!'')

Parangaracutirimicuaro (Name of a city in Mexico - sounds so awesome with the right pronunciation)

Moshi-Moshi (Japanese for "hello," but only when you're on the telephone)

Gelato (Italian heaven)
