Medical instrument manufacturer BIT Group is set to provide its North American customers with a vast array of field services.

As part of its global field service expansion, BIT has enhanced its customer service and field technician teams and FDA-approved BAAN service software to provide clients with field services, response and support. Field services provided by BIT include full documentation/device history records; regulatory compliance/safety checks; inspection/upgrades/calibration; instrument installations and In-house depot service; exchange service (modules or complete instruments); refurbishment and swap-out services; and maintenance and warranty service.

BIT Group expanded its North American operations in June 2007 by acquiring an interest in Source Scientific LLC of Irvine, CA, a designer, developer and manufacturer of medical devices and laboratory instruments.
