 in late October, Peter Daalder of Daly Plastics and chairman of the BIR's plastics committee, said the working group would seek representatives from organizations that have already developed national specifications for plastic scrap. These organizations include the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries Inc., Germany's BVSE (Association for Secondary Raw Materials and Waste Disposal) and the U.K.'s PAS 103 system, developed by WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Program me) and the British Plastics Federation.
