 MANUFACTURING PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT
 PALO ALTO, Calif., Aug. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- biosys (NASDAQ: BIOS), a manufacturer of environmentally safe biological pesticide products, and Archer Daniels Midland's (NYSE: ADM) BioProducts Division today announced a unique joint partnership agreement that broadens an existing long-term manufacturing agreement between the two companies, biosys announced today. The agreement provides biosys access to significant additional large-scale fermentation capacity for the production of products beyond its core nematode-based biopesticides. These products can either be biosys-developed products or those that biosys scales up and manages for third parties.
 Under terms of the existing and the new agreement, biosys technical personnel will work in conjunction with ADM personnel at ADM's new bioproducts manufacturing facility in Decatur, Ill., to provide production technology expertise and management of the fermentation and downstream processes. biosys mass produces its beneficial nematodes, insect-killing microorganisms that constitute the active ingredient in biosys' biological pesticide products, at ADM. Products that biosys can produce underines.

 biosys, based in Palo Alto, is a leader in the development and commercialization of biological pesticides for a wide range of insect pests. Using advanced science and technology, the company develops and manufactures biological controls that are highly effective in large- scale usage. biosys holds patents for the manufacture of beneficial nematodes in liquid fermentation and their formulation for commercial use.
 ADM, based in Decatur, is an $8 billion world-class producer of food and feed ingredients, and other products from agricultural grains. In the past two years, ADM has expanded aggressively into the production of biochemical products.
