BIOQUAL Announces Fiscal Year 2000 Earnings and Declares Dividend.

ROCKVILLE, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 14, 2000

BIOQUAL, Inc. (BIOQUAL) completed its fiscal year on May 31, 2000, in which it had net earnings of $97,246, or $0.11 per share (basic and diluted di·lute

BIOQUAL's Board of Directors has declared a dividend of $0.03 per share for shareholders of record on September 11, 2000, payable on September 27, 2000. This is the second dividend declared by BIOQUAL.

BIOQUAL's base business in government contract work has allowed the Company to explore opportunities in a variety of related disciplines. During the past three years, BIOQUAL has invested a significant percentage of its earnings in evaluating and developing technologies geared toward commercial opportunities. These have included acquisition of technologies suited for immediate marketing, internal research, and development in areas of human and animal therapeutics therapeutics
