ANNOUNCES FILING OF FINAL PROSPECTUS FOR RIGHTS OFFERING.EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 1, 1995--Biomira Inc. today announced that it has filed a final prospectus Final Prospectus A legal document stating the price of a newly issued security, the delivery date, and other facts that are important for investors. Notes: The final prospectus must be given to every investor who purchases a new issue of registered securities. in all the provinces of Canada and a registration statement, including a final prospectus, in the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. for a rights offering to its common shareholders of 7,507,513 units, each unit consisting of a common share and a warrant to purchase an additional common share. Each holder of common shares of record at the close of business on May 12, 1995 is entitled to receive one right for every common share held. Three rights entitle the holder to subscribe for one unit at a price of $3.60 per unit. Each warrant entitles the holder to purchase one common share at a price of $5.75 per common share until December 5, 1996. If all rights are subscribed for under this offering the gross proceeds will be approximately C$27 million, not including any proceeds from the exercise of the warrants.
