BILLION-DOLLAR BARRIER BROKEN BY WORLD WIDE FINANCIAL

BIRMINGHAM, Mich., June 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Jack Wolfe, president, and Bob Denton, CEO, of World Wide Financial Services, Inc., have announced that their client portfolio has reached more than $1 billion after only being in operation since November, 1990. The announcement was made during World Wide Financial's new headquarters location celebration on June 29.
"Our portfolio has grown so rapidly during the past six months," Wolfe explained. "We have increased our staff by 100 percent over the past year to accommodate our growth, and we have moved our headquarters to gain the much-needed office space for personnel and computer support systems to better serve our ever-expanding customer base."
World Wide Financial celebrated both the move and the $1 billion accomplishment at the company's new headquarters located in the 555 Woodward Building in Birmingham. The celebration included a reception at the Old Woodward Grill followed by a tour of the new facilities. The company now occupies the entire fifth floor and portions of the sixth and seventh floors of the building, utilizing more than 20,000 square feet of office space.
The event also featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the participation of Robert DeLaura, mayor pro-tem for the city of Birmingham. Accepting a $555 donation for Birmingham Youth Assistance (BYA) was Dante Lanzetta, also with the city of Birmingham and board member for BYA.
Although the Birmingham office is World Wide Financial Services, Inc.'s headquarters, the company also has offices in Bloomfield Hills, Brighton, Farmington Hills and Troy, Mich. World Wide Financial's expansion plans include Grand Rapids, St. Joseph and Grosse Pointe, Mich., offices in the months ahead.
Reported as being the fastest growing mortgage lender in Michigan, World Wide Financial Services, Inc. has intentions to diversify into other financial services under the leadership of new CEO Denton, who joined World Wide Financial in late May of this year. Denton was formerly executive vice president for Independence One Mortgage Corp. in Southfield, Mich.
World Wide Financial Services, Inc. was founded in September, 1990 by partners Wolfe, Andrew Jacob, Howard Babcock and Robert Silverstein.
