It's tough for some people to visualize - Harley-Davidson riders motoring across town under a flag of Christianity.

Just as difficult for some to picture is the image of a 12-year-old boy in bed awaiting life-saving treatments rather than spending these summer days at the sandlot sand·lot

Yet, the former is as real as the latter.

The Christian Harley Riders and the Modified Motorcycle Association will hold a ride Sunday in Simi Valley Simi Valley (sē`mē, sĭm`ē), city (1990 pop. 100,217), Ventura co., SW Calif. in an oil, fruit, and farm region; laid out 1887, inc. 1969.  to raise money for Newhall resident Dylan Foley. His family's health insurance has been used up.

``So many people have come together to help the Foleys because they're really great people and Dylan's a wonderful boy,'' said family friend Rainette Lyons. ``This is a child's life we are trying to save. Money shouldn't be an issue.''

Members of the two motorcycle groups and other supporters will meet at 9 a.m. at PC's Bar, 4251 E. Breakfast will be served, then bikers will head off at 10 a.m. on a route that will preview the annual November Turkey Run ride and rally.

The goal is to raise $5,000 to $10,000, which event planners believe is realistic considering family friends raised $10,000 last week in a special booth at an American Youth Soccer Organization fair in Valencia.
