Byline: Alicia Doyle Daily News Staff Writer

With cloudless blue skies and tree-lined roads to guide them, more than 200 leather-clad bikers roared through the Conejo Valley The Conejo Valley is a region spanning both Southeastern Ventura County and Northwest Los Angeles County in Southern California, United States. It was discovered in 1542 by Spanish explorer Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo, and eventually became part of the Rancho El Conejo land grant by  on Sunday to raise money and collect food for the needy.

The sixth annual Manna Food Run, sponsored by the American Brotherhood Aimed Toward Education, benefited the Manna Conejo Valley Food Bank.

``We try to help the best way we can - these are people who have very little,'' said Roger Smith, vice president of ABATE in Thousand Oaks. ``We want to do what we can to make their lives a little easier.''

Last year, the group raised about $500, 60 turkeys and a truckload of groceries that were donated to a local food shelter. After two hours of sign-ups Sunday morning Sunday Morning may refer to:

Earlier this month, the motorcyclists raised more than $1 million during the 1996 Love Ride.

In addition to benefiting those in need, fund-raisers also help bikers break down stereotypes, Shane said.
