The city of Santa Clarita's Pride Week will culminate today with a community cleanup in which residents can drop off unwanted items too large for the regular curbside trash.

Items can be left free from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at four locations citywide - Santa Clarita Santa Clarita, city (1990 pop. 110,642), Los Angeles co., S Calif., suburb 30 mi (48 km) NW of downtown Los Angeles, on the Santa Clara River; inc. 1987. Situated in the Santa Clara valley and nearby canyons, Santa Clarita includes the former towns of Canyon Country,  Disposal, 17524, Sierra Highway, Canyon Country; at 22427 Market St., Newhall; at Pamplico Drive and Taryn Drive near James Foster School in Saugus; and at San Fernando Road San Fernando Road is a major street in the city and county of Los Angeles. It starts off in Castaic as The Old Road, passing through Santa Clarita and the Newhall Pass, where upon its intersection with Sierra Highway near the junction of the Golden State (I-5) and the  and Magic Mountain Parkway in Valencia.

Any solid, liquid, or gaseous waste materials that, if improperly managed or disposed of, may pose substantial hazards to human health and the environment. Every industrial country in the world has had problems with managing hazardous wastes.
 Roundup at College of the Canyons College of the Canyons is one of the fastest-growing community colleges in the state. According to the National Junior College Research Association, College of the Canyons consistently ranks in the top 50 community colleges in the nation. . That program will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in parking Lot 7 at the college, 26455 Rockwell Canyon Road.

Such items as motor oil, paint, turpentine turpentine, yellow to brown semifluid oleoresin exuded from the sapwood of pines, firs, and other conifers. It is made up of two principal components, an essential oil and a type of resin that is called rosin. , acid and lye-based cleaners, household and car batteries, pesticides and garden herbicides can be left there. Do not mix the products, and bring them in their original containers if possible. No explosives, radioactive materials, tires or business waste will be accepted.
