LACR's main feature was its 1/4 mile dragstrip, which was first opened in 1964. LACR held its final event on July 29th, 2007. , 6850 E. Ave. T. Sunday's slate includes 18-wheeler drag racing, working competition and a big-rig beauty contest. The gates will open at 8 a.m. both days. Admission to the event is $10 daily, or $15 for both days.
